Central to AgriGen Biotech's bio-analytical service is our ability to rapidly deliver validated analytical methods to the market. The hub of our method development platform is the seamless integration of bioinformatics analysis tools with state-of-the-art molecular assay design, for example, real-time PCR.

AgriGen Biotech has extensive experience in development and validation of analytical methods, for example, to identify animal species in feed samples or the detection of genetically modified organisms in a broad range of sample matrices.

We are currently engaged in a project involving international laboratories from Europe and the USA to standardise real-time PCR testing methods for genetically modified cotton. In addition, our product line will be broadened by June 2005 to include novel veterinary diagnostics, with several assays currently undergoing validation.
