Accreditation
Since its establishment in 2004, AgriGen has successfully achieved a number of relevant accreditations and is a member of a number of related industry bodies and organisations.
NATA ISO17025:
NATA is the national Australian authority that provides independent assurance of the technical competence of testing laboratories. NATA accreditation thus provides a means of determining, recognising and promoting the competence of facilities to perform specific types of analyses.
AgriGen is NATA accredited to ISO17025 for a range of different DNA/PCR tests. This includes all aspects of the analytical process including sample registration, test methodology, instrument calibration and maintenance, data records, calculations and, ultimately, the reporting of results.
