AgriGen is an independent analytical testing facility providing a comprehensive range of specialised molecular biology based tests, offering clients a timely, quality focused service.
AgriGen was established in Sydney, Australia in 2004, it now has fully functional, dedicated laboratories and facilities in Lane Cove West, N.S.W.
What do we do?
AgriGen continually strives to offer a complete, flexible and cost-effective bio-analytical service for:
- the detection of genetically modified organisms (GMO)
- the identification of restricted animal material in stock feed
- the identification of species for food authenticity and safety
- pathogen detection for agriculture, aquaculture and public health
- contract Research & Development service including molecular assay design and validation

Our Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) System ensures our clients are able to receive a seamless process from the sample submission process through to the final result reporting and invoicing steps. The LIMS System enables clients to access and retrieve results remotely on a 24 X 7 basis.
With more than 12 years of experience in this field, AgriGen is able to provide a quantitative or qualitative analysis for international regulatory requirements using best up to date methods.
